Established in 1908, Merthyr Tydfil is yet another wonderful Welsh mountain top course with some truly outstanding views from every hole.Some of the fairways sit at 1, 000 feet or more above sea level, so you can expect to be blown about on occasion! Merthyr Tydfil is actually the only golf course that is situated within the Brecon Beacons National Park, a piece of land that is treasured by the local community and it is easy to see why.Attractive features include the hole names, which tell their own story; 'Summit', 'The Beacons', 'Longest' and 'Dogleg'.
