Situated at the foot of Knockcree Mountain Kilkeel is a beautiful parkland course ringed by woodland and masses of rhododendron shrubs in an area that might well be described as the Garden of Mourne. The club was founded in 1924 and renowned Irish course architect Eddie Hackett took responsibility for expanding the course to 18 holes in 1993. The course is situated in the historic Kilmorey Estate and offers exceptional views thanks to its positioning at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. Eleven of the holes have tree-lined fairways, with the remainder all open parkland.
