Be prepared to walk up very some very steep hills and all the way back down again. Also, be prepared for a seriously enjoyable round of golf because this course is one of the best-kept secrets of Co. Dublin. Established 1970, Slade Valley is fairly easy going parkland course and probably one of the highest golf courses in Ireland. Caddies are available by prior arrangement, and that would probably be a good idea once you've caught a glimpse of the first few fairways. The course nestles among the foothills of the Dublin Mountains and offers quite sensational views from every hole.
