The Yorkshire countryside provides the glamorous, scenic background for Painthorpe House golf club, a nine-hole course in the heart of the county, with a par of 62 stretching out over 4544 yards of picturesque scenery. With 150 members it is certainly popular a popular choice in the district and its pay as you play deal for non-members from Monday to Saturdays, and after 2.30pm on Sundays, has made it more accessible than many other courses in the area and, as such, has attracted many visitors. It is an ideal place to practice irrespective of whether you are a beginner looking to better your game, or an improver seeking to hone your weaker points.
