Wales' Becky Morgan took a three-stroke lead at the halfway stage of the Scottish Women's Open at Dundonald Links.

Morgan, looking to win her first Ladies European Tour title 15 years after recording her first runner-up finish, followed up her opening 68 with a six-under-par 66 to sit 10 under after 36 holes.

Starting on the back nine, Morgan birdied the 10th and shot an eagle three at the long 18th before picking up three more shots after the turn.

Sweden's Linda Wessberg and France's Isabelle Boineau are three shots back on seven under, with both women signing for rounds of 67.

The 2014 winner, England's Trish Johnson, missed the cut after finishing eight over.
