City of Wakefield Golf Club is a superb municipal facility two miles west of Wakefield in West Yorkshire. This pay-and-play facility is generally regarded as one of the more popular municipals in the region and is well known for providing a memorable challenge to players of all abilities. The course, of parkland nature, features generous fairways which are ideal to test all types of shot. If the wind blows you'll need good course management and a steady hand in order to hit the greens in regulation. There is a good mix of holes to keep you interested throughout and the back nine, according to most visitors, gets better with every hole.
