Centenary celebrations are imminent for South Bradford Golf Club which was founded in 1906. As such, preparations for the milestone year are well underway, and now is potentially the time to take the tees of the club's fine meadowland course. Although it is only a nine-hole course, it can be played as eighteen-hole course. It boasts a par of 70 and stretches to 6068 yards. Perhaps the reason for this generous par is the hilliness of the course, meaning that good stamina and fitness is essential to playing here. There are many natural hazards to negotiate around the course, and the par-3s are perhaps the feature holes with their well-protected approaches to tight greens. Visitors are welcomed during the week.
