Louis Oosthuizen's spectacular shots

South Africa's Louis Oosthuizen made his second hole-in-one in major championships this year during the first round of the Open Championship at Royal Troon.

Here, Press Association Sport looks at the former Open champion's habit of holing spectacular shots in the game's biggest events:

1. 2012 Masters

Starting the final round two shots behind leader Peter Hanson, Oosthuizen vaulted into the lead in amazing fashion with the first albatross on the 575-yard second in Masters history, his four-iron approach from 253 yards curling round from the front of the green and dropping into the hole. A closing 69 left him tied on 10 under par with Bubba Watson, who won his first green jacket on the second hole of a play-off.

2. 2016 Masters

Four years later Oosthuizen carded a remarkable hole in one in the final round, following in the footsteps of Shane Lowry and Davis Love on the par-three 16th. Playing partner JB Holmes' ball was around five feet from the flag when Oosthuizen's rolled down a slope on the green and knocked it past the hole, but that deflection took the South African's ball straight into the cup.

3. 2016 Open

Two over par for the day on the 14th tee, Oosthuizen walked off the green at level par thanks to holing out from 178 yards with a six iron, which was the club recommended by his caddie after Oosthuizen thought he needed a five iron.
