There are plenty of courses in the Cardiff area that you may never have heard but can blow your mind but Dinas Powys, a delightful 18-holer that overlooks the city and the Bay, is probably the pick of the bunch.Not only do you get wonderful views of the city and the bay below but you also get a small history lesson into the bargain as the course was actually closed in order to grow vegetables during World War II.The course has challenges galore, the best of the lot coming in the shape of the eighth, a downhill par four that somehow disappears into the woods.
