The nine-hole Vogrie Golf Course is one of the top municipal pay and play courses in the Midlothian area and is certainly worth taking the time to play, particularly if you are quite new to the game. A fun, laid-back test of golf, it is situated in the heart of the Vogrie Country Park and it is one of the many facilities, including adventure play area, garden centre, barbecue sites and woodland paths, that can be enjoyed on a day out there. Well-maintained and with a handful of particularly challenging holes, the course is ideal for those looking to get to grips with the basics of the game and is a superb place to hone your skills.
