A traditional seaside links course incorporating many blind shots Cullen offers great views of the coastline, Cullen Bay and beyond. Its opening hole is a straightforward par four while the second requires a delicate pitch onto a tight green on a plateau at the top of a hill. The green is protected at the back by a ditch and an out of bounds fence on the old railway line. The par three, 7th, however, is the signature hole and you can see almost every green on the course from this vantage point. Although relatively short, several par threes require precision and a good slice of course management.
