Kilkea Castle was built in 1180 and is the oldest continuously inhabited castle in Ireland. Less than an hour from Dublin, the magnificent rose gardens and skilfully renovated rooms provide a unique setting for your golfing holiday. The golf course measures 6,100 metres from the championship tees and sits beneath the shadows of a 12th century Castle. The castle, therefore, can be viewed from every fairway. You will encounter the river at almost every hole. Two lakes have also been included in the course design, adding to the overall difficulty of the challenge.
