One of the oldest courses in the Yorkshire region can be found at Middlesbrough Golf Club which was designed by the legendary James Braid in the early 1900s and first opened for the enjoyment of golfers all across the northern region in 1908. It offers a fine and stern test of ability to all levels, ages and handicaps of golfer, and benefits from an outstanding location in the heart of the Yorkshire region, where there are excellent panoramic view to be enjoyed from most vantage points on the course. It is also kept in outstanding condition throughout the year by the dedicated team of greenkeepers, who meticulously maintain and manicure every blade of grass and grain of sand on the course.
