There can't be too many golf courses the length and breadth of England that can lay claim to 25 acres of water in and around the golf courses - seaside courses excluded - but Pyrford Golf Club certainly can. Water, round here, is seemingly everywhere so you either need to stick to the fairway or bring an extra sleeve, or two, of balls just to be on the safe side. Pyrford is a very well laid out course with plenty of features and, besides the water, you need to avoid the many bunkers on show, one of which stretches from the tee all the way to the green.
