Legendary golf course architect, Harry Colt designed the fine course at Northamptonshire County Golf Club, and it features all the typical characteristics of his design work. Testing hazards are littered all over the course and require careful negotiation if you are to score well here. Patience, good temperament and firm concentration are pivotal for the good of your scorecard. It is very easy-walking and is laid out on some luscious downland style parkland. It further benefits from fabulous views over the Northamptonshire countryside from your vantage points on most tees. There really are few better places in the whole of England than this region to enjoy a round of golf, and few more pleasant courses than this one.
