The championship length course at Collingtree Park Golf Club is without question one of the finest golf clubs in the surrounding region. It is owned by the European PGA and is a popular venue for major tournaments and championship qualifying rounds. Johnny Miller laid out the designs and consequently it first threw open its doors to golfers in 1990. It is an exceptionally challenging and long course - sprawling for almost 7000 yards from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth, offering a standard scratch score of 73 - and so there are a number of long holes that will have the big hitters licking their lips in anticipation
