Colchester Golf Club is home to a truly spectacular golf course that has the distinction of having been designed by the legendary golf course architect James Braid. The five times Open winner is celebrated as one of the most outstanding designers of all time whose work shaped and influenced the development of course planning throughout the twentieth century, and this course has all the typical trademark features of a Braid design.
