Located just outside Benfleet, and within walking distance of the railway station there, the course at Boyce Hill Golf and Country Club isn't the longest in the region by any stretch of the imagination, but it certainly one of the most unique and challenging. It spans just under 6000 yards from the tee on the first hole all the way round to the pin on the eighteenth, in return for a par of 68, but it has plenty of interesting features you to occupy yourself with and more than the occasional tricky hole to take on. The fairways are gently undulating and there are plenty of approach shots to the greens that are all made all the more difficult by the well-positioned bunkers guarding them
