Set amidst some beautiful countryside, Bishop Auckland golf club is a long parkland course that is quite hilly and, therefore, heavy on the legs. Measuring 6420 yards from the first pin to the last tee, you will need to have plenty of stamina to make your way around this course. It is surrounded on all sides by large mature trees and a small ravine acts as a tricky natural hazard on many of the holes. There are also some interesting raised tees with water surrounding the greens that add a bit more personality to the course, as well as upping the challenge it poses.
