Not only can you enjoy a fine and testing round of golf on a stunning course, you can also indulge in a little game of squash should you take the inkling also, as there are plenty of courts available if you fancy a shot. The golf course was first opened in 1977 and is laid out some verdant springy parkland with excellent views of the surrounding Derbyshire countryside abounding from all positions. It is really is a stunning area with some marvellous countryside to be behold, and there are few places as good as the course at Shirland to enjoy them.
