Pastures golf club, located just west of Derby, is set on the grounds of a former psychiatric hospital, and it has been remarked that the demanding nature of the course has driven many a golfer mad since it was opened in 1969 by former pro, Max Faulkner. Making full advantage of the extensive, undulating meadowland in the area, this nine-hole course is a true test of ability and, for those whose game needs a bit of extra work, there is a practice area and a putting area to fine tune the various aspects of your game. The club is also extremely popular with junior golfers, offering a yearly membership with prices starting at £35.
