Make sure you have your hiking legs on before you set off around the course at Bakewell Golf Club. This is one hilly treat laid out on some particularly undulating ground so be sure to be ready and up to challenge, and don't burn yourself out attacking the front-nine too much - the back nine isn't any less a test of your stamina, never mind a fine test of your golfing ability that the course poses. The club was founded in 1899 after the course had been built to specific designs laid out by George Low. It continues to attract the discerning club golfers from all across Derbyshire - and beyond - to its tees even today.
