About
The 2010 Ryder Cup will see Colin Montgomerie's Europe take on a United States team captained by Corey Pavin, on the Twenty Ten course at Celtic Manor. The competition will take in foursomes and fourball matchplay competition on Friday and Saturday, with the action culminating in 12 singles matches on Sunday.
Venue
Wales will host the Ryder Cup for the first time in 2010, with the purpose-built Twenty Ten course at Celtic Manor designed to test the world's best players and produce plenty of drama. Opened in July 2007, the course incorporates nine original holes designed by Robert Trent Jones, supplemented by nine new holes designed by European Golf Design. A daunting 7,493 yards long, the Twenty Ten course should give Colin Montgomerie and Corey Pavin plenty to think about as they prepare for the event.
