Biography
Lee Westwood joined the European PGA Tour in 1994, and won the first of his 20 Tour titles two years' later at the Volvo Scandinavian Masters.
In 2000, Westwood won the Order of Merit after claiming five victories in a remarkable season.
Nine years' later, Westwood repeated the feat by winning the inaugural Race to Dubai - coming from behind to pip Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy with victory at the season-ending Dubai World Championship.
The popular Worksop golfer remains without an elusive major title, however. Two T3s in 2009 would suggest he's getting closer, and Westwood will emerge in 2010 will hopes high of ending his wait.
Westwood has represented Europe in the last six Ryder Cup matches against the United States.
