Brandt Snedeker (born December 8, 1980) is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour.Snedeker was born in Nashville, Tennessee. He attended Montgomery Bell Academy and then Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the Chi Chapter of the Kappa Alpha Order. He won the U.S. Amateur Public Links in 2003 before turning professional. He played on the Nationwide Tour from 2004 until 2006, when he finished in the top 10 of the tour money list after victories at the Showdown at Somerby and the Permian Basin Charity Golf Classic, thus earning a PGA Tour spot for 2007. At the 2008 Masters, Snedeker finished four strokes under par to finish tied for 3rd place. Snedeker currently works with Todd Anderson of the Sea Island Golf Club.
