Sattaya Supupramai leads way at King's Cup

Sattaya Supupramai holds a two-shot lead at the King's Cup in Thailand after posting a superb first-round 63 on Thursday.

Home hope Supupramai, 28, mixed eight birdies with a solitary bogey at Phoenix Gold Golf Club in Pattaya to reach seven under.

America's Tom Johnson, Italian Francesco Laporta and India's Gaganjeet Bhullar are in a tie for second place on five under.

Englishman Eddie Pepperell is another two strokes further back after producing an opening 67, while 2008 Masters champion Trevor Immelman is among the large group on one under.
