The first-time major winners from 2011

Jimmy Walker's victory in the US PGA Championship means all four of the year's majors have been claimed by first-time winners for the first time since 2011.

Here, Press Association Sport looks at the champions from five years ago:

Masters - Charl Schwartzel

Rory McIlroy took a four-shot lead into the final round at Augusta National, only to slump to a closing 80 and end up in a tie for 15th place, 10 shots behind Schwartzel. Eight different players held at least a share of the lead, but the day belonged to South African Schwartzel, who chipped in for birdie on the first, holed out for an eagle on the third and birdied the final four holes to win by two shots.

US Open - Rory McIlroy

Just two months after his Masters meltdown, McIlroy made amends in spectacular fashion with a stunning victory at Congressional. McIlroy led from start to finish after an opening 65 on a rain-softened course and cruised to an eight-shot winning margin, setting championship records with his 72-hole aggregate of 268 and total of 16 under par.

Open Championship - Darren Clarke

Playing in his 20th Open, world number 111 Clarke had been largely overlooked in the build-up to the event at Royal St George's, but used his vast experience of links golf in tough conditions to claim a first major title at the age of 42 and a second in succession for Northern Ireland.

US PGA - Keegan Bradley

Playing in his first ever major at Atlanta Athletic Club, Bradley looked to have blown his chances after a triple-bogey on the 15th in the final round. However, he birdied the next two holes and then saw compatriot Jason Dufner drop three shots in succession, with Bradley going on to win the three-hole aggregate play-off by a shot.
