England finish third at UL International Crown

England suffered a disappointing final day's singles as they finished third in the UL International Crown.

England carried the best record into the day from the foursomes but defeats for Holly Clyburn, Mel Reid and Charley Hull allowed the USA and Korea to move above them.

Jodi Ewart Shadoff did salvage something from the day with a one-up victory over Taipei's Ssu-Chia Cheng but it was not enough.

The USA won three of their four matches to secure the crown on 13 points ahead of Korea on 12 and England and Taipei, who shared third place with 11.
