France's Celine Herbin won a three-hole play-off against Emily Pedersen to land her maiden Ladies European Tour victory at the Lacoste Ladies Open de France.

Denmark's Pedersen three-putted for a bogey at the par-four 18th and Herbin sunk a par to claim the title.

The Dane had led by five strokes but Herbin birdied the 10th, 14th and 15th to get herself back into contention, and Pedersen cracked under the pressure with a bogey at 16 and double bogey on the 17th to send the tournament into a play-off with both players on 11 under.

Herbin told ladieseuropeantour.com: "To win my first tournament in my home country with so many people cheering for me, it's like a dream. I feel very lucky and I worked hard for that, so I think I deserve it and I'm very happy."

Malene Jorgensen was third on nine under and England's Charley Hull finished in fourth on eight under after a final round of 67.
