Located five miles south west of the capital and south of the A720, Torphin Hills is one of three courses enjoying an idyllic location on the north facing slopes of the Pentland Hills. In truth, this little course is an undiscovered gem. It has wonderful views of the city of Edinburgh and the Forth Estuary. The course features some stiff climbs and drops and is heathland in nature. It is always in good condition and , although short, your short iron play will have to be up to standard if you are to score well.
