Pumpherston is one of Scotland's newest developments. An additional nine-hole course extension has been masterminded, alongside a new clubhouse, practice area and green keeping facilities. Thanks to funding from sportscotland, BP and West Lothian Council, Pumpherston has developed into one of Scotland's most promising layouts. A number of holes stick in the memory, for instance the magnificent views of the Pentland Hills from the second tee. The short par four sixteenth is also a favourite, with the green being built around a pond, tightening your approach shot. Recently awarded the Scottish Golf Union's Junior Charter, the course is ideal for kids who are new to the game.
