Positioned in the United Kingdom's Top 100 courses by Golf World magazine, The Duke's St Andrews is now on many golfers 'Must Play' lists. Opened in 1995 and designed by 5 times Open Champion, Peter Thomson, the course was re-designed in 2007 by the U.S. based Kohler Company, home to the famed Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run golf venues. Today, The Duke's is a heathland masterpiece. Gone are the revet-faced pot bunkers and in are rough-edged spacious bunkers synonymous with bygone years of heathland golf. With the conditioning of the course comparable with some of the finest clubs in the land, and the friendly atmosphere and welcome afforded in the luxurious clubhouse, a visit to The Duke's is highly recommended.
