With a stunning lakeland setting and a course to match, Tulfarris has already received great acclaim from the golfing fraternity both at home and abroad. Course architect Paddy Merrigan is rather proud of his creation. He said: "I think the finished article stands alongside the best golf course to be found anywhere. The natural beauty of the setting is awesome." The Poulaphuca Lake plays an integral part in the layout The lake contains twelve smaller lakes and the course has been set on three peninsulas for a quite unique setting.
