Located just outside Pontefract, you can find a truly stunning course to play and one that is amongst the most picturesque and scenic in the entire county. Pontefract and District Golf Club is where it is to be found, and it is set amidst some fantastic countryside, offering truly spectacular panoramic views of the area. At 6232 yards in length, from the tee on the first hole to the pin on the eighteenth, it is quite a considerable length, and as such, has more than the odd long hole, which is no doubt music to the ears of the big hitters out there amongst you. Indeed, you can really let rip off some of the tees - just don't forget to do so accurately.
