Unusual in the realms of golf is that Epsom has only two bunkers and they can both be found on the last hole, trusting that you manage to avoid the hedgerow that straddles much of the fairway in front of the green. Epsom offers an unusual golfing challenge. Though not a long course, it harbours many perils for the unprepared golfer with its mixture of tight holes, undulating fairways and greens which test even the smoothest strokers of the ball. Indeed, in a recent tournament only three professionals from a field of more than 70 managed to break par. Visitors are welcome by prior arrangement.
