Elsham Golf Club was established in 1900 and celebrated its centenary year in sensational fashion by becoming Lincolnshire Champions in 2000. Elsham is a tranquil, well-wooded course with an abundance of wildlife. It lies on the eastern edge of the Ancholme Valley, not far from the escarpment of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Players will enjoy a relaxing round on this easy walking course but it will test your ability to think your way round. Former Ryder Cup captain Tony Jacklin is an honorary member and opened the new clubhouse in 1990. During the hectic years following his Open championship and US Open championship wins he played most of his non-tournament golf at Elsham.
