Situated less than a mile from Watford town centre, the superb course at Bushey Hall Golf Club is well able to stake a claim for being the oldest in the Hertfordshire region, having opened its doors for the first time in 1886 - so it is now in its 118th year dazzling club golfers from all around the area. It was designed by Robert Stewart Clouston and benefits from a spectacular location on some truly fine undulating parkland, with marvellous panoramic views to be had from all around. It measures only 6099 yards mercifully as it is quite heavy walking, but the rewards are there to be had if you are willing to give it a shot.
