Founded in 1932 and designed by Sir Guy Campbell in collaboration with the marvellously monikered Colonel Hotchkin, the course at Ashridge Golf Club is amongst the finest in the whole of the Hertfordshire area. It spans a colossal 6625 yards over eighteen holes and is therefore laid out to exacting USGA championship standards. It benefits further from a stunning location in which to enjoy a round and if you take the time to play it you will see precisely the aesthetic delights that are on offer from pretty much every vantage point on the course.
