Pleasant introductions are skipped at Chedington in favour of a monstrous and unforgiving par five first hole that commands full and immediate attention. With water lurking up the right side of the fairway, it's important your first shot of the day is one of your best or you could easily find yourself battling back from the wrong side of par for the rest of your round. One of the best courses in the area, this par 70 parkland course is family friendly and even offers free junior lessons on fair-weathered Sundays. And at just short of six thousand aggregate yards, it sprawls across the beautiful and vast countryside that it is designed upon.
