Tucked neatly between the village of Barbon and the River Lune, Kirby Lonsdale offers spectacular views of the surrounding Cumbria countryside on a picturesque parkland course. Designed by Bill Squires, it offers a challenging round of golf with much to test high and low handicappers alike, so try not to be too distracted by the stunning setting it boasts. Its greens are extremely well looked after by the dedicated greenskeepers and the fairways are luscious and verdant. Spread over 6472 yards from the tee on the first to the pin on the last, it is a genuine test of stamina and patience, which has certainly proven popular.
