Now over one hundred and twelve years old, Didsbury golf club is one of the most highly regarded golf courses in the country. It is located on the banks of the River Mersey in south Manchester and provides a considerable challenge for golfers of all standards. The course is bordered on three sides by the river, which adds an extra difficulty to the round. Accuracy, patience and concentration is vital to avoid scoring poorly over the 6210 yards of this par 70 course. Well maintained and tended to by its dedicated team of grounds-keepers, it is playable virtually all year round without the need to rely on temporary tees or greens, and the tight fairways are fast and generous to high handicappers.
