World number 10 Justin Rose will have to wait to see if he has missed the cut at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans after two level par rounds.

The Englishman's fate rests in the balance after the second round was suspended due to bad light, with the projected cut standing at two under.

Rose, who had to finish his first round after inclement weather on Thursday, was straight back out on the course and carded a second successive 72 to leave him on the brink of an exit after he was hurt by back-to-back bogeys on the back nine.

Jamie Lovemark and Jhonattan Vegas are the clubhouse leaders on 11 under, with Lovemark going round in a scintillating six-under-par 66.

Lovemark fired seven birdies, and only one bogey, as he surged up the leaderboard after earlier completing the final nine holes of his first round.

Vegas overcame a double-bogey seven on the 11th to card a 69 and join Lovemark at the summit.

First-round leader Brian Stuard is well placed on 10 under and is yet to complete his second round while Harold Varner III is on eight under.

Australian Jason Day is on two under with eight holes of his round to play, while Rickie Fowler is a shot further back.
