And so, after a brutal, 500-year wait (well, it seemed that long), Tim Clark has finally managed to produce the goods on the PGA Tour. Well done Tim, we're all chuffed for ya.
But if I'm being brutally honest, I don't see titles coming thick and fast for the South African, even if he has managed to get that pesky monkey off his back.
Poor old Robert Allenby on the other hand, who finished one behind Clark, well he can't buy another win (his last came in '01) for love nor money.
He's finished runner-up twice this year, as well as on three other occasions in '08 and '09. Surely it'll only be a matter of time before he's putting shrimp on the barbie to celebrate? As soon as this week's Texas Open perhaps?
