5 to watch at the Women's British Open

Following the withdrawal of defending champion Inbee Park from this year's Women's British Open here are five players to look out for at Woburn.

1. Lydia Ko

Chasing her third Major Championship victory, 19-year-old world number one Ko has been carefully managing her participation in tournaments, and arrives at Woburn fresh and ready to better her third-place finish from last year.

2. Brooke Henderson

The 18-year-old Canadian and world number two is viewed by many as Ko's closest challenger. After competing for 10 weeks straight in LPGA tour events, it remains to be seen whether or not the lack of rest will have an effect on Henderson.

3. Charley Hull

Playing at her home club, English number one Charley Hull will be hoping to give the crowd something to cheer about. Falling marginally short in a fiercely-contested ANA Inspiration in California, Hull will have her eyes set on taking home the trophy.

4. Lexi Thompson

Fresh off a team victory in the UL International Crown, the 21-year-old, who has placed in the top 10 eight times in the last 14 majors, and won her first LPGA major in 2014 will be relishing the thought of adding another piece of silverware to her collection.

5. Isabelle Boineau

The Frenchwoman called her victory in the Scottish Open last week "one of the best days" of her life. Currently ranked second in Europe, the win marked the 27-year-old's first ever European title, and will provide a confidence boost ahead of Wobrun.
