Cardross is one of those courses that deserves much more attention than it currently receives. It also has a knack of producing some very promising youngsters who are currently thriving on the Scottish amateur scene. Indeed, it has previously hosted the Scottish Professional Championship and other regional and national events, so it's pedigree is not an issue. It is an undulating parkland course with good views, but the actual challenge of playing a competitive round is the most enjoyable aspect of this offering.
