Founded in 1902, this pleasant parkland course boasts many trees and a number of hazards to keep you on your toes throughout. Over the years Walmley has seen many changes, both to the course and the clubhouse, the latter built in the mid-1960s. The par 71 course stretches to 6,259 yards and provides a fair but challenging test of golf for players of any handicap. A fair number of holes are tree lined - keep it straight on these holes or you're in trouble - and twin lakes come into play on the fourth, fifth and sixth holes. The attractive clubhouse is ideal for post-round refreshments and offers magnificent view across the course.
