Dale Hill, in the middle of the beautiful Sussex countryside, boasts two, fabulous, eighteen hole courses, spread over 350 acres. The Old Course, as it has become affectionately known, opened in 1973 and sprawls over 5856 yards. Not the biggest course in the country by any stretch of the imagination, but with a par of 70, and spectacular views of the Kentish Wealds, it is certainly worth trying out. It offers great variance too: the front nine is played over gently rolling parkland, whilst the back nine is heavily wooded, providing a test for all standard of golfer. The Ian Woosnam designed course opened in 1997 and has come in for extraordinary critical acclaim, even being compared favourably to the, legendary course at Augusta

How to Get there

Dale Hill is conveniently located only 45 miles from Central London via the M25 Junction 5 south and the A21 towards Hastings.

Gatwick Airport is 34 miles away and the Folkstone Euro-Tunnel terminal is less than an hour's drive from the hotel. Wadhurst is the closest mainline station with regular trains to and from London's Charing Cross.
