Manston Golf Centre, situated in Manston, Kent, is fast developing a reputation as one of the top places to play and learn the game in the south of England. Central to its appeal is its superb nine-hole course, which opened in 2003. Although quite short – it’s under 4,000 yards when played twice over for a full round of 18 holes – it is a superb little challenge, with each hole likely to arouse your curiosity and give you a fair but thorough examination of your skills. Despite its young years, meantime, it is maturing at a rate of knots and it is always kept in immaculate condition. With a driving range, short-game practice area and a large golf shop also on-site, it’s easy to see why so many golfers are falling for Manston’s charms.
