Municipal courses tend to get a very bad name amongst the golfing fraternity, as they are considered the poor man's golf course, compared to those that can be enjoyed at the private members clubs. A very pompous viewpoint you will no doubt agree, and also an inaccurate one as those who have played at St. Pierre Park Golf Club will testify. The course there belies its 'muni' status as it plays very much like any other course, as is kept in superb condition all year round. It is a short but challenging par-3 that will has some excellent challenges for you to take on. Good course management and club choice is essential if you are to score well here.
