The Tyneside golf club offers a fabulous course set in beautiful surroundings with picturesque, panoramic views of the local area. It provides a good test of ability and the many natural hazards - for instance, the carefully placed bunkers and troublesome water hazards - are compensated for by the wide fairways which are forgiving to poorer, less accurate shots. It offers a par of 70 over eighteen unique and differing holes and, measuring only 6045 yards, it is not overly heavy on the legs. The facilities at the club are of the highest order and the clubhouse is the ideal place to relax and ponder your performance over a post-round drink or two.
